Kain is quite the charmer! He is calm, gentle, likes to be brushed, good in the car, good at the vet, house trained, crate trained - can we say perfect??? His story is this...He lived on his own in a drainage ditch for over 6 months. He would roam the neighborhood going to the houses he knew would feed him and retreat back to the woods. He would not let anyone close enough to catch him. Then he met someone that didn't like him - a porcupine!!! Now Kain has quills in his nose and the community knew they had to do something so they called rescue and the trap was set. Took him three days to get in it but once he did he melted in our hands with a big sigh of relief. His foster home reports he is absolutely the best dog ever. He does not like cats and doesn't seem to be really good around small dogs so please keep that in mind. Please consider giving this boy his furever home - one where he never needs to worry about being abandoned again.
