Welcome to Katie's Roadside Rescue!  We are an animal rescue with the primary mission of saving dogs that have been dumped in the country or by the side of the road to fend for themselves.

Hope came into rescue at about 6 weeks old. She was found with a mean man that had a heavy chain and a seat belt around her neck. She was scared, screaming and biting but the kind woman that found her didn't mind at all. She snatched her up, took her inside, fed her, bathed her and kept her safe until a rescue was confirmed. That's how she got here. Hope is pure sugar and sweetness. She is still a bit shy of men (who wouldn't be) but is learning trust. She sleeps in the big bed and loves to snuggle and feel safe. She plays with the other rescue dogs and tries to be big like them but when they scold her she comes running back to momma! Hope will be medium size maybe about 30 lbs when grown. She is ready to find her safe forever home. Will it be yours?
