Welcome to Katie's Roadside Rescue!  We are an animal rescue with the primary mission of saving dogs that have been dumped in the country or by the side of the road to fend for themselves.

Ms. Lavern was roaming the streets and trying to care for her babies Lenny and Squiggy when she came across a nice man that left food and water out for them and let her seek refuge in his yard. A good Samaritan saw them and reached out to rescue and here they are! Lavern is a 10 lb pure little love bug and will stay on your lap all day long if she could. She loves to snuggle at night and doesn't move a muscle so she doesn't disturb her human. She is so content just being close and safe. Lavern gets along with large and small dogs and male or female. We are working on house training and she is doing well and she knows how to use a doggy door. Her hair is gray, white, brown, straight and curly so who really knows what she is just yet! Hair is only cosmetic - it's what's in the inside that matters. She will make any family very happy. Will it be yours?
