Welcome to Katie's Roadside Rescue!  We are an animal rescue with the primary mission of saving dogs that have been dumped in the country or by the side of the road to fend for themselves.

Jackie was living all alone in a small country town by a little BBQ/pool hall. I saw her a couple of times driving through town and reached out for help. A wonderful woman and now her foster mom went and got her, took her to the vet, got her all fixed up and now she is living the life she deserves while waiting for her permanent home. She is housetrained and very well mannered. She gets along splendidly with the other dogs in the home and everyone she meets. According to patrons of the establishment, at one point she was hit by a car but they said "she healed up all on her own"! The poor girl. The only lasting effect that can be seen is she is missing her left eye. Jackie is a little shy at times but warms up quickly. She is an overall wonderful gal and after such a rough start in life deserves to have a great rest of life. Please consider adding Jackie to your family.
