Meet Pete! He is a very sweet little man that falls in love and stares at you with those "I love you" eyes. He's had a 'not so nice life' starting who knows where and ending up on a rope tied to a house with his only shelter being underneath. When I first saw him it was love at first sight for both of us. The rope he was tied with was wrapped so tightly around his back foot that it was swollen and sore. The owner said he was mean. I said "I would be too" and convinced him to surrender him to me. It worked and Pete came home with me. He has never shown a bit of aggression and is so happy to be part of a family. And there was no permanent damage to his leg. Pete is heartworm positive and will be treated in Nov and ready for his forever home where he will never be tied up again. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered and best of all - house trained and uses a doggy door! Please consider adopting Pete (or fostering him in a quiet environment for his treatment). You won't be disappointed!
