Welcome to Katie's Roadside Rescue!  We are an animal rescue with the primary mission of saving dogs that have been dumped in the country or by the side of the road to fend for themselves.

Meet Susie Q!!! She is all Border Collie by her activity level and would love to have a job. She is extremely agile and can jump about 8' and 2' plus up. She has all the typical herding instincts and would make a great country dog or a pet for a very active family. She is huggy, kissy, loves belly rubs and really wants to please. She likes her crate at night with a mind occupying toy to keep her brain busy. She seems to get along with most other dogs with a few exceptions. She does not do well with small dogs due to what seems to be a high prey drive (so small farm animals like chickens would not be good for her either) and she does not do well with other alpha females. Susie will need just the right home that understands her breed and can provide the environment where she will thrive. She is such an awesome dog! Please consider adding her to your home.
