Talk about being a hares’-breath away for death, that’s where I was when they found me.  Recently suffering from heat stroke, I was taken to vet who helped me get well.  My background probably included one of being tied up, mistreated and abandoned when very young.  I’ll tell you more about that later.  Needless to say, it was a hare-raising experience that no Rabbit should have to go through.  I’m exploring new experiences now and new surroundings too.  Trust me, no “bunny” is happier right now than I am.  Being a drop dead gorgeous 3 year old lady Labrador/Malamute mix, take a peek at my fantastic markings and coloring.  Have you ever seen a happier face with such pearly white teeth like this before?  While I won’t be “hopping” down a bunny trail, I do very well on a leash, would love to take walks with you.  Who knows, it might help me improve my girlish figure.  If a bird or squirrel is around to bother you, I’ll chase them off.  Like that scamp Brer Rabbit in the story, sometimes I can be a little bossy.  All you need do is let me know and I’ll behave right away.  Rawhide, did you say you have rawhides?  Oh my, I do love them.  Other dogs are fun, and cats well, not sure I even care about them.  I can tell you one thing for certain, I won’t be hiding under some silly basket like Benjamin Bunny.  I’m here, out in the open, waiting patiently for you to come meet me.  And that, my new friend and companion, is no Cotton-Tale.
